Triplets solitaire rules (2 decks of cards)<< Triple Line | Usk >>
Goal: Discard all but two cards.
The entire deck is dealt into 18 piles, 6 cards to each pile except the last 2, which are dealt 4 cards each.
Select the top card of any 3 piles whose ranks are continuous. King wraps back to ace, and is continuous. The 3 cards are discarded.
Two cards will remain in a winning game.
Variation of: Triple Alliance
Difference: The game is played with 2 decks rather than 1, with twice as many cards dealt to each pile.
As noted in Triple Alliance, both games are known by both names. Miss Whitmore Jones lists the 2-deck variation under the name Triplets.
Rules source: Games of Patience - 4th Series, Miss Whitmore Jones ~ The Penguin Book of Patience, David Parlett ~ Solavant Solitaire, Smallware (Triple Alliance)
This is one of 3 layouts for Triplets in Solitaire Forever II.
