Simplicity solitaire rules (1 deck of cards)<< Simple Simon | Sir Tommy >>

Goal: One card is dealt to determine the starting rank for the 'foundation' piles. Move out the other 3 when you can, and build them up to piles of 13 cards each in the same suit. Aces play onto kings.

Build the 12 piles of the layout down in alternating suit color. Kings play onto aces. You can only move one card at a time. Empty piles can be filled with any card.

Turn over one card at a time from the deck, playing the top card to other piles when you can.

Variations: Fortune's Favor

This is sometimes listed as a variation of Four Seasons due to similar rules, but with over twice as many piles in the layout it becomes its own game. More piles makes things easier, but the layout builds by alternating color rather than any suit, so there are half as many possible moves.
