Shifting solitaire rules (1 deck of cards)<< Shamrocks | Siegecraft >>
Goal: Move out the aces when you can and build them up to king in any suit.
Turn up one card at a time from the deck and play it if you can, or place it onto any of 4 waste piles, regardless of rank or suit.
The top card of each waste pile can be built down onto other waste piles in any suit. Empty spaces can be filled with a king, or any card from the deck.
Variation of: Sir Tommy
Difference: The top card of the 4 waste piles are permitted to build down onto other waste piles, in any suit. Empty spaces can be filled with a king.
Tarbart and SolSuite allow any available card from the layout into an empty space, not just kings.
