Scorpion solitaire rules (1 deck of cards)<< Saratoga | Scorpion II >>
Goal: Form 4 same-suit sequences in the layout from king down to ace.
Build the 7 piles of the layout down in the same suit. Any number of cards from the top of a pile can be moved, regardless of rank or suit. Empty piles can be filled with a king.
At any time, deal the 3 remaining cards to the first 3 piles.
Variations: Scorpion II, Three Blind Mice, Wasp
This game by Albert H. Morehead & Geoffrey Mott-Smith combines elements of Yukon and Spider. Uncovering the face-down cards allows more possible moves and is vital to a winning game.
