Rouge et Noir solitaire rules (2 decks of cards)<< Reinforcements | Rows of Four >>
Goal: Move out 2 red aces and 2 black aces when you can and build them up to king in the same suit color. At the same time, build 4 complete sequences in the layout from king to ace in alternating suit color, moving out each when you can.
Build the 10 piles of the layout down in alternating suit color. You can move a group of cards that are in sequence. Empty piles can be filled with a king.
Each time you are done making moves, deal one new card to the top of each pile.
This game is unrelated to "Red and Black", another game that is also known as "Rouge et Noir".
This invention of Charles Jewell combines elements of Klondike and Spider. It's up to you to decide when a card should play to the aces, or stay behind to be built in the layout. The auto-play feature makes decent decisions, but there are times that you might want to turn it off.
