Midshipman solitaire rules (2 decks of cards)<< Microbe | Miss Milligan >>
Goal: Move out the aces when you can and build them up to king in the same suit.
Build the 9 piles of the layout down in alternating suit color. Empty piles can be filled with any card.
You can only move one card at a time. Each empty pile doubles the number of cards you can move, since multiple moves would allow it.
Turn over one card at a time from the deck, playing the top card to other piles when you can.
Variation of: Forty Thieves
Difference: There are 9 piles in the layout rather than 10, with the first 2 cards dealt face down. The layout is built by alternating suit color rather than matching suits.
This is the same as Maria with the first 2 cards of each pile dealt face down.
