Little Forty solitaire rules (2 decks of cards)<< Little Billee | Little Windmill >>
Goal: Move out the aces when you can and build them up to king in the same suit.
Build the 10 piles of the layout down in any suit. Empty piles are filled immediately from the deck. If the deck is depleted, then empty piles may be filled from anywhere.
You can move a group of cards that are in sequence, and all the same suit.
Turn over 3 cards at a time from the deck, playing the top card to other piles when you can.
3 redeals are allowed, returning the waste pile back to the deck.
Variation of: Forty Thieves
Difference: The layout is built regardless of suit rather than by matching suits. You can move a same-suit sequence of cards. Empty piles are filled automatically from the deck. The deck turns up 3 cards at a time rather than 1. You get 3 redeals.
Cards buried by kings will remain that way for some time. With empty piles filled automatically, it is some time before you will be able to move out the kings.
