Golf solitaire rules (1 deck of cards)<< Gloucestershire | Good Measure >>
Goal: Play all cards to the discard pile.
Turn over one card at a time from the deck, and build onto the top card up or down in any suit from the 7 piles of the layout.
Nothing can play onto a king. Building stops, and you must turn over another card from the deck to continue.
Also known as: Fan Tan, One Foundation
Variations: Putt Putt
This is a popular game, likely because it's quick and simple, but it's rare to win. Be careful not to leave a queen buried below a king in the layout for too long. If it becomes the last queen remaining, you will never get it out. It's the only card kings can play onto.
