Eight Off solitaire rules (1 deck of cards)<< Eight Away | Eight Off (Relaxed) >>
Goal: Move out the aces when you can and build them up to king in the same suit.
The 8 cells can hold one card each, used to help move cards around. 4 of the cells are dealt a card.
Build the 8 piles of the layout down in the same suit. Empty piles can be filled with a king.
You can only move one card at a time. As a time-saver you can move an additional card for every empty cell, since multiple moves would allow it.
Variations: Eight Off (Relaxed)
Seahaven Towers is almost the same game. Both games have 40 buried cards to release, but Seahaven Towers does it with 2 more piles. You gain 2 exposed cards, but you also lose 4 of the 8 cells.
Eight Away is a similar 2-deck game.
Be wary of building too many cards above a lower card of the same suit.

This is one of 4 layouts for Eight Off in Solitaire Forever II.
