Eight Off (Relaxed) solitaire rules (1 deck of cards)<< Eight Off | Eliminator >>
Goal: Move out the aces when you can and build them up to king in the same suit.
The 8 cells can hold one card each, used to help move cards around.
Build the 8 piles of the layout down in the same suit. Empty piles can be filled with any card.
You can only move one card at a time. Each empty pile in the layout doubles the number of cards you can move, since multiple moves would allow it, plus an additional card for every empty cell.
Variation of: Eight Off
Difference: Empty piles may be filled by any card, not just kings.
Several descriptions offer this as an alternate rule for empty piles, making it closer to the rules of FreeCell.
Be wary of building too many cards above a lower card of the same suit.
This is one of 4 layouts for Eight Off (Relaxed) in Solitaire Forever II.
