Beak and Flipper
By David Parlett. Your aim is to release the "beak", the first card in the tableau, which also determines the base rank. The other three base cards are dealt to the foundation.
One deck of cards
Object: Play all cards to the foundation.
Tableau: 7 piles.
Rank is built down. Cards must match the same suit.
Rank order wraps from king back to ace.
If a pile is empty, you can play a card that is the ending rank.
You can pick up and play a group of cards in sequence.
Reserve: 7 piles.
If a pile is empty, you can play any card.
You can pick up and play the top card of a pile.
Foundation: 4 piles.
The first card dealt to the tableau determines the base rank. The other three base cards are dealt to the foundation.
