Also known as a variation of "Eight Off", this version has been described by Martin Gardner.
One deck of cards
Object: Play all cards to the foundation.
Tableau: 8 piles.
Rank is built down. Cards must match the same suit.
If a pile is empty, you can play any card.
You can pick up and play the top card of a pile.
You can move one card, plus another card for every empty cell.
Reserve: 4 piles.
If a pile is empty, you can play any card.
You can pick up and play the top card of a pile.
Foundation: 4 piles.
Play "ace" cards to empty piles.
Rank is built up. Cards must match the same suit.

Difference:
The tableau is built by matching suits rather than alternating color.
