Signora solitaire rules (2 decks of cards)<< Siegecraft | Simple Simon >>
Goal: The first card played to a 'foundation' determines the starting rank. Move out the other 7 cards of the same rank when you can, and build them up to piles of 13 cards in alternating suit color. Aces play onto kings.
11 cards are set aside as the 'reserve', with the top card available for play only to the foundation piles. Examine these cards before deciding on the starting rank.
Build the 9 piles of the layout down in alternating suit color. Kings play onto aces. Only the top card of a pile may be moved. Empty piles are filled from the deck.
Turn over one card at a time from the deck, playing the top card to other piles when you can.
Variation of: Queen of Italy
Difference: Rather than dealing 4 cards to choose the starting rank from, the entire layout is dealt right away. You can choose any card at your discretion for the starting rank.
