La Belle Lucie solitaire rules (1 deck of cards)<< Klondike Territory | La Nivernaise >>
Goal: Move out the aces when you can and build them up to king in the same suit.
Build the 18 piles of the layout down in the same suit. Only the top card of a pile may be moved. Empty piles can not be filled.
2 redeals are allowed. All cards still in the layout are gathered, shuffled, and redealt.
After the final redeal a grace move is given, allowing one buried card to be moved.
Also known as: Alexander the Great, Clover Leaf, Fair Lucy, Midnight Oil, The Fan, Three Shuffles and a Draw
Variations: Fan, Scotch Patience, Super Flower Garden, Trefoil
It can be frustrating trying to free cards buried by a higher rank of the same suit. Cards often stay buried until a redeal, or the invaluable grace move. Some descriptions omit the grace move, or include it only in Three Shuffles and a Draw.
