Fourteen Out solitaire rules (1 deck of cards)<< Four Seasons | FreeCell >>
Goal: Discard all cards in pairs that total 14.
The entire deck is dealt into 12 piles, with 5 cards in the first 4 piles, and 4 cards in the rest.
Move any exposed card to another card if their ranks combine to a total of 14. The two cards are discarded.
Jacks, queens, and kings count as 11, 12, and 13.
Also known as: Fourteen, Fourteen Puzzle, (The) Fourteens, Take Fourteen
If 2 cards in the same pile total 14, it would be advised to move one out as soon as you can. If they get left as the last cards of those ranks, they will remain blocked.
Tarbart deals 4 cards to each pile and lets you choose where to deal the remaining 4 cards.
