Baroness solitaire rules (1 deck of cards)<< Barcelona | Bath >>

Goal: Discard all cards.

5 cards are dealt to start the layout. Move any exposed card to another card if their ranks combine to a total of 13. The two cards are discarded.

Jacks, queens, and kings count as 11, 12, and 13. Since kings total 13 by themselves, they are discarded alone.

Each time you are done making moves, deal a new card to the top of each pile. When the last 2 cards of the deck are reached, they are turned up and available for play.

Also known as: Five Piles, Thirteens

Easy to play; not quite so easy to win.
