The only building done is to the foundations, thus the skill is in releasing cards by moving top cards to the reserve. This variation by David Parlett is quite easy and would offer a better challenge with fewer reserve piles.
Two decks of cards
Object: Play all cards to the foundation.
Tableau: 26 piles.
Cards can not be played to here.
You can pick up and play the top card of a pile.
Reserve: 8 piles.
If a pile is empty, you can play any card.
You can pick up and play the top card of a pile.
Foundation: 4 piles.
Play "ace" cards to empty piles.
Rank is built up. Cards must match the same suit.
Foundation: 4 piles.
Play "king" cards to empty piles.
Rank is built down. Cards must match the same suit.
Variation of:

Difference:
The reserve piles are not dealt a card. Those 8 cards create two extra piles in the tableau, up from 24 to 26 piles. There are no redeals.
